Harrow on the Hill station (Metropolitan/Chiltern Line)

Harrow on the Hill is only 13 minutes from London Marylebone on the Chiltern Line.

Also from Baker Street c. 20 minutes and Uxbridge, Chesham, Amersham Chiltern Line all stations to Aylesbury 

Bus from the station
  • Turn right at the ticket barrier down the stairs to Harrow on the Hill town centre for bus station.
  • Take 258 or H17 from Bus Stand C to alight at Harrow School Stop at the top of the hill.
  • Cross road and turn left to descend West Street on your right.
  • The Castle is 1-2 mins down West Street
Walking from the station (15 minutes- walking up / 12 mins walking down !)
  • Turn left at turnstiles down stairs to Lowlands Road exit.
  • Cross Bessborough Road by zebra crossing.
  • Turn left on pavement with open space on right,
  • Then turn right up Grove Hill at the Harrow School sign.
  • Leads up into the High Street where on the level you continue past the memorial steps to West Street on your right.
  • Descend to Fuller’s The Castle is half way down West Street.

South Harrow station (Piccadilly Line)

Bus from the station
  • At the bus terminus next to station, take 258 bus to Harrow School bus stop at top of the hill.
  • Turn back 20 yards to West Street.
  • 1-2 mins to Fuller’s The Castle.

Alternatively

  • Cross at Zebra to bus stop opposite side of main road
  • Catch either H9 or 395 bus to the bottom of West Street
  • Walk up to The Castle between the cricket fields.
Cab from the station

There is a mini cab firm opposite the station.

Walking from the station (10 – 15 minutes)
  • Turn right outside the station up past Waitrose towards the Half Moon pub/Salt Bar.
  • Take Middle Rd passing John Lyon School.
  • After which bear left along Crown Street.
  • The Castle is at the end of the street at the junction with West Street.

Harrow & Wealdstone station
(London Midland, Southern, and London Overground)

Bus from the station
  • Take any bus to Harrow bus station, and then 
    Take 258 or H17 from stop C at bus station to Harrow School stop at top of the hill
  • Cross the road and turn left into West Street.
  • Fuller’s The Castle is 1-2 mins down West Street.
Walking from the station
  • Take the main exit
    (across bridge away from Bakerloo/Overground platforms)
  • Cross zebra crossing to take 258 bus at stop opposite station to Harrow School stop at top of Harrow Hill. 
  • Alight and cross road and turn left to into West Street.
  • Fuller’s The Castle is 1-2 mins down West Street.
