Monday 6th July 2026 – Guest evening – ‘Rumpled Muslin’ – £10
Rumpled Muslin are a highly accomplished and entertaining all-female trio who sing in glorious folk harmony with strong solo leads. The group are steeped in the traditions of folk music, from England, Scotland, and further afield, and deliver ballads and comic songs with equal sincerity. The contemporary songs in their repertoire feel as if they have always been with us.
Amanda MacLean, Alison Frosdick and Wendy Lanchin have many years of musical experience between them and it shines through every aspect of their performance. Their impressive arrangements and well-judged harmonies create a sound that seems bigger and more complex than just three voices. The blend of their voices is highly effective and with impeccable timing and great storytelling the three sound like they have been singing together much longer than just four years.

Free Entry on Singaround and Theme Nights – Arrive from 7:30pm for the chance buy a drink and chat. There is now food available again at The Castle on Monday nights, serving until 21:30
Led by a compere, everyone gets the chance to play or sing. All are welcome to perform or simply sit back and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Raffle tickets are sold for a bottle of fine wine.
