Herga at The Castle is a folk and acoustic music evening, with roots going back to 1963. We meet every Monday night at The Castle – a Fuller’s public house atop old Harrow on the Hill with its panoramic views across London.

Monday 5th June – Guest Evening – JIB – Jim Mageean, Ingrid and Barry Temple (£10)

JIB are Jim Mageean & Ingrid & Barrie Temple, three terrific singers from the North-East. All have a powerful & extensive repertoire of songs & shanties, some traditional & some written by Barrie. They generate mighty, ringing vocal harmonies & are much in demand at maritime & other festivals.

All other nights are come-all-ye singarounds – entrance free! Led by a compere, everyone gets the chance to play or sing.  All are welcome to perform or simply sit back and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Raffle tickets are sold for a bottle of fine wine.
