Herga at The Castle is a folk and acoustic music evening, with roots going back to 1963, on Monday nights at The Castle – a Fuller’s public house atop old Harrow on the Hill with it’s panoramic views across London.

Monday 19th August – Megan Wisdom (entry £5)
Megan Wisdom is a folk musician and singer of traditional songs. Born and bred in Suffolk, Megan has been attending pub sessions for as long as she can remember, which has provided the foundation for a warm, simple style which resonates throughout her performances.
She has been invited to perform at Herga following her appearance as a finalist in the 2019 New Roots competition in St Albans

Free Entry on Singaround and Theme Nights – Arrive from 7:30pm for the chance buy a drink and chat – or earlier if you want to eat first (menu)– we start at 8pm.
If you decide to eat at The Castle tell the bar-staff that that you are there for the folk club and you will get a 20% discount on your food!
Led by a compere, everyone gets the chance to play or sing.
All are welcome to perform or simply sit back and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Raffle tickets for a bottle of fine wine and choice of CDs.
